QUESTIONS

  • I filed in small claims for the return of my rental deposit. I named the home owner as defendant and responded with a copy of the lease which names someone else as the landlord. I don't want to wait for a court date. How can I "cancel" this action and file a claim on the landlord on the rental agreement?

  • I recently found out that my ex-husband (we were married at the time) was continuing to collect my unemployment benefits under my name for 5 months after I started a new job! DES is now trying to sue me for collecting unemployment! Is there any way to prove that HE was the one collecting my unemployment and NOT me (he was collecting it via the automated weekly claim over the phone)?! How can I prosecute or go after him for the money owed and not me!?
  • I stay at an rv park that charges a flat rate for daily space, weekly spaces and monthly spaces. I have no lease. I wasn't given any paperwork or rules of any sort when I parked my fifth wheel. All I was told was their is a flat monthly rate 223.00 and electric is a pay as you use type of deal. Their is no paperwork what so ever. The prices are flate rates for the however long your staying is and it's seriously posted on a sign outside the office. What are my rights and can they evict me and charge me late fees because I haven't been able to pay for this month yet due to this pandemic?
  • I was served with a writ of restitution by my landlord, i currently own the mobile home and i was asked to leave within 5 days, but i own the mobile home so my question is what happends to my m.h after i leave, i was given the option to remove or sell it. Can i return if i have buyers interested in buying it or do the landlords automatically keep it?
  • I need to terminate a year lease because I lost my job and cannot afford to pay rent. Also my Mom had signed a paper saying she would help me with rent which she can no longer do.

  • I recently went through a child custody hearing. In the judges ruling, he claimed that I was convicted of Domestic Violence and that I was abusing te legal system by reporting Domestic violence by my ex. I have never been charged but my ex has been 12 times with 5 convictions and 5 other charges dismissed as part of plea agreements. Do I have any recourse against the judge?
